This has probably been my favorite fashion work as of yet. Karsten is a local model and reached out wanting some photos. She had no specifications other than she wanted it to be more high fashion. SOLD! So I approached this shoot as if it were a real fashion campaign. All the pieces, locations, angles, hair and makeup were chosen for a specific purpose. With Fall approaching, I of course leaned towards choosing outfits that felt Fall. I looked no further than Zara and found everything I was looking for. I was hoping to find pieces in a rich brown or deep purple (something very different from my normal neutral palette) but went for this burgundy set Karsten is wearing.
The first location we shot at was perfect because it had the solid, beige backdrop I was looking for PLUS a fire escape on an apartment building across the street. Any time I can add architecture into my photos, I do it. So this was an absolute dream location.

Second look, Parisian-inspired For this look I actually had another Zara number planned, but Karsten brought this amazing polka-dot, off the shoulder dress that we finally decided on. I paired it with my beret hat (that I am completely obsessed with), a pair of Anthropologie boots and clutch and we had a look.
We shot at the beloved Paris Market in downtown Savannah.
